I had a craving for a chilli dog and asked a co-worker a good place to get a chilli dog, Andrew's is what she said. It's an old school place that had plenty of customers. I ordered a chilli dog and fries. The lady behind the counter was plesant and took my order with a big smile. My food was served up in a brown paper bag which I loved. My chilli dog was good, and I wish I ordered two. The fries were fresh and salted perfectly. This is my spot next time I crave a chilli dog at work.
Fantastic ole school chilling shop. Great service chilling dogs are great 3 Dog special! Bring cash and enjoy stepping back in time.
Stumbled upon this place going to another place that was closed so decided to try it. Very friendly polite staff the second you walk in the door. They offer breakfast until 11. They have a small lunch menu but good prices. Doesn't look like much definitely a hole in the wall establishment but must say glad i walked in. Good for small groups as well. Will be returning to try the breakfast. Only negative comment I have to say about it so far is that their sweet tea could have been better but other than that it's not bad. And it's cash only found that out the hard way.
I've been a customer of theirs since i was 4 years with my mother , the food is the best , never disappointed and if you get a chance try the chilli dogs they are the greatest
Food was awesome, waiter was very polite and time accurate, Sangria Margarita that I had was awesome and the liquor was well distinguish in the drink! Thumbs up!!!
Get the 3 dog special all the way..peroid..local landmark..breakfast good too but go for chili dogs..trust me

Best scrambled eggs ever! Try a chilli dog with cole slaw. It will change your life! Be sure to bring cash, as they do not take credit cards or checks. You won't need much cash because prices are so cheap your jaw will drop! The atmosphere is is quirky and simple, like a blast from the past. The original 1950s Wurlitzer speakers still fill the room with music. Mary, a waitress who has been here since I was a kid, is the sweetest lady. Her service is stellar. The owners are wonderful, too!
You won't find a better chili dog anywhere in the state in my honest opinion. I mean I've lived in NC for 16 years and I haven't had a chili dog to even come close to Andrew's Grill. Do yourself a favor and walk up to the window and order at least 2 chili dogs all the way(mustard, onions, slaw and chili) because ordering 1 is just a tease.......and if you're like me, just ask them to burn your dog, I can't eat it any other way.
